The Red Floor Mission is clear and simple, to spread joy and hope to all the homeless children in the Philippines. From the words found in Isaiah 58:10,
“If you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.”
Your selflessness will touch their hearts and help them believe that there are still people in the world who are willing to help those in need. We are reminded of the story of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:30-37 and we know that you are the answer to our family’s prayers.
The Red Floor Mission is an outreach to children in the Philippines; many of whom come out of extreme poverty. The ministry was started by Ron and Liezl Fuller. Liezl began to reach out to the children to teach them about God and to feed them. Many of them have been abandoned but continue to thrive because of the love and support Liezl and Ron give everyday. We are spreading the love of God to these children and to the families.
In The Beginning...
Liezl was living in her store which was badly in need of repair. The upper room above her store had holes in the floor and roof. Ron took action and sent the money to Liezl to begin the renovation. After completing the remodel, there was no money left for furniture or carpet, so Ron and Liezl decided to paint the floor with red paint that was sent by accident. On this floor the children receive Bible teaching combined with worship, prayer, and other activities. The government, because of Covid distancing regulations, required her to disband the group. So Liezl spent two days of intense prayer after which she decided to break the group into smaller groups.
Suffer The Little Children to Come Unto Me...
One time when Jesus was preaching, the disciples tried to move some children out of the way. Jesus immediately told the disciples to let the little children come to Him… for of such is the Kingdom of God. The Red Floor Mission is working to not only meet the physical needs of these children, but also to bring them to Christ.
I Was Hungered and You Gave Me Meat...
“For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? — When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? — Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” … Matt 25:35-40
From the onset, Red Floor Mission has trusted God for the resources to feed the children that He was sending their way. Many of these children do not get regular meals and nourishment, so we also feed them a healthy meal each week. In addition to this, we do regular feeding outreaches in the community.
