Meet Ron and Liezl Fuller
While studying at a Bible College and working as an administrative assistant to the President, Ron also worked with foreign students who desired to get a faith-based education. This combined his love of God and humanitarian heart to make people’s lives better. During his time at the college, he was also seeking God’s direction as to his calling. After much prayer, he came to the realization that his calling was to serve in a missionary capacity.
In a serendipitous moment, and surely through the intervention of God, a year ago while attempting to reach (via the Internet) a family member named Lisa, he was instead connected through Siri with a woman named Liezl living in the Philippines. After several years of long distance relationship, Ron and Liezl married on Valentines Day 2023.
From her, Ron learned of the human hunger, limited education and poor housing conditions that are prevalent in the country and the challenges she faces daily. Liezl’s compassionate heart combined with her love for God, caused her to begin to look for ways she could help children who were facing same hardships that she faced growing up.
She decided to open a small store in order to support herself, as well as, her brother and sister. After Ron & Liezl completed the remodel of the store, many children who visited her store, and saw the red floor, became excited and began asking questions. So they decided to help the community by bringing the children to the upper room of her store, which had the red floor, to teach them about God and feed them a nutritious meal. After many hours of prayer Red Floor Ministries was born.
